Who We Are
Puna Whakataa is an alcohol and other drug respite and short-term treatment service based in South Auckland.
The service provides a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment for people needing a short break from daily pressures related to substance use.
Delivered in partnership between Ember Korowai Takitini and The Salvation Army, the programme combines clinical and peer-led supports to help tāngata whai ora re-stabilise, reflect, and reconnect with their recovery pathways.
