Who We Are

Higher Ground provides an 18-week residential abstinence-based programme to safely work on goals and challenges, learning the tools for recovery.

Te Atatu Peninsula, West Auckland.

Our Accommodation

We are a 53-bed residential service

32 men’s, 20 women’s, 1 unisex- gender diverse.

Duration of Stay

18 weeks followed by an extensive Continuing Care programme including supported living post residential treatment is available.

What We Offer

Our programme is abstinence based, operating a Therapeutic Community model with Tikanga Māori woven through the programme.

Our support and activities include:

• Group therapy
• 12 Step facilitation
• One-on-one counselling
• Family/whānau therapy and support
• Cultural support (Māori or Pasifika models)
• Support when leaving the programme.
