Odyssey – Family Centre

Who We Are

Odyssey’s Family Centre enables parents to enter residential treatment while living with their children in a safe, family-centred environment. The programme focuses on recovery, parenting skills and re-establishing healthy routines that support both whānau wellbeing and long-term change.

Regional coverage: Auckland and nationwide referrals accepted.

Residential programme – Parents with children (0–12 years)

Duration of Stay

Average programme length 9–14 months (depending on family goals and progress)

• Therapeutic community model including family participation
• Parenting and family support sessions
• Group and individual counselling
• Early childhood education and play-based activities
• Whānau wellbeing and transition planning
• Aftercare support post-programme
