Who We Are

The Salvation Army Auckland Bridge Programme provides adult residential and day treatment for people experiencing problems with alcohol or other drug use.
The service operates across Mt Eden, Waitākere, and Counties Manukau, offering treatment based on an abstinence model of care using the Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA).
Each site supports both male and female tāngata whai ora within a structured, therapeutic environment.

Auckland Region – Mt Eden, Waitākere and Manukau

Our Accommodation

  • Total beds: 50 (Mt Eden 22 | Waitākere 14 | Manukau 14)
  • Residential and day client options available
  • Each site includes access to a gym, library and art supplies; Mt Eden also features a pool table, table tennis, volleyball court and Sky TV

Duration of Stay

  • 8 to 12 weeks

What We Offer

  • Group sessions and one-on-one counselling
  • Family / whānau support
  • Cultural support – Māori model currently in use and Pasifika model in development
  • Access to The Salvation Army General Practitioner and medical services
  • In-house AA and NA meetings and access to external recovery meetings
  • Recovery churches (two at Mt Eden, one at Manukau)
  • Spirituality sessions and daily “spirit lifters”
  • Aftercare services including group support for six months post-graduation
