Over the last few years the AOD Provider Collaborative has explored how to support people accessing AOD services with their physical health. Findings were summarised in a news article by Te Pou.

Training on Enhancing Physical Health
This 2-part training has been developed for staff of addiction and mental health services to assist them to support people who access services, with their physical health. It includes insights from lived experience. Before viewing, have copies of the 3 resources listed above available. See the flyer for more details.
- 2-3 hour total participation time (viewing and reflecting).
- Individuals or groups can use the training for professional development. A training facilitator’s guide is available.
- Dapaanz Addiction Practitioners and Support Workers can earn continuing professional development points.
